This year The Niche Carolina Magazine celebrates seven years of print publishing! The media outlet is dedicated to Carolina music and culture. The magazine is widely recognized as the Carolina’s premier journal on events, entertainment, news and more.

Volume seven, issue one of The Niche Carolina Magazine features dual covers. Charlotte’s Mr. 704, Columbia’s Imperial Music, Hopkin’s SC native Lele and DJ Louie Vee graces the front cover. Charleston’s Dirty Dave holds down the back cover solo. This month’s issue features interviews with all of these artists. Durham, NC is also the “Dirt Road” featured area, describing the city’s rich cultural history. There’s also music reviews, fashion and much more.

Shera Bass is the magazine’s founding editor-in-chief (EIC). In her volume seven, issue one EIC’s column, the CEO pens a heartfelt editor’s letter describing her publication’s impact on the Carolinas’ music and community for the past, present and future.

The Niche Carolina Magazine along with affiliate One Love Marketing Group produces the annual South Carolina Music Awards, which will also be in it’s seventh year of production this Summer. Nominations for this years’ awards show are open now, and you can visit the SC Music Awards website to cast your votes.
