Students enrolled in Dr. Perry Hall's AFAM 356 History of Hip Hop class at UNC-Chapel Hill decided to end their semester with a celebration and discussion on hip hop's past and present. There will be a panel on lyricism, women in hip hop, independent artistry and more. The evening's program will also have live performances from two of RDU's best MCs. I'll be sitting on the panel with producer/beatmaker Big Fok, Tab-One of Kooley High, DJ Forge and Dr. Mark Katz. Should be a great evening!
