This mixtape is one of the best projects to come out of North Carolina this year. OK so 2011 is not over yet and I haven’t started compiling my "The Top xxx Mixtapes To Come Out Of North Carolina In 2011" list yet but I’m sure this project will be in the top five.
(Maliq) Millie Vaugn is a producer out of Raleigh, NC. He put together this project featuring some of North Carolina’s best emcees and singers. Artists who make an appearance include Drique London, Azon Blaze, SkyBlew, Lazarus, S. Gold, Tucson and more.
The MillieTape is 110% jammin’ and great NC hip hop. It’s well produced and does a good highlighting the talents in and around the RDU hip hop scene. Don’t sleep on it.
