On this week’s episode of Where Is Hip Hop?, Randy and I discuss the most overrated rappers in the game right now.
The artists included might surprise you: Big Sean, Pill, CyHi Da Prynce, Donnis, Cory Gunz, Vado and Big Boi. All of them are signed to major labels, have graced the cover of XXL’s highly coveted Freshman Class issue and/or are considered a legend in the game.
However each one of these folks have yet to grow a substantial buzz or release a hit record, with the exception of Big Boi, who’s done so as 1/2 of Outkast but not since branching out on his own as a solo artist.
