If you’re a regular listener of the show you may have noticed I typically pick music appropiate enough to go along with the news reports. Back in February after Fabulous’ tour bus got busted with 500 pounds of weed I was researching music to go along with the talk set. My Saturday night co-host Billy…

DJ Peachez dropped this new gem off earlier this week and I’ve been banging it ever since. Don’t get it twisted, this is not dope girl music. This is a grown woman, stay on and be about your business mixtape. I just hate the mixtape cover artwork. Other than that I feel so empowered listening…

Since the weekend I’ve been in a Carolina state of mind==What up Will B.== and coming out of the Tre-Four [Winston Salem, NC] is something brand new. Ricky Ruckus is one of those artists who can do it all and does. This new cut was produced by Mr. Conrizzle and regardless of what he says…

The South Carolina Music Awards & The Niche Carolina Magazine 2nd Anniversary Celebration weekend went down in Columbia, SC over the past couple of days. This week R.E. and I discuss the importance of support, a…

The word is finally out and the streets of NC are buzzing. Contrary to popular belief “everybody” is not on the internet and some heads in The Cack are just now starting to come around to who J. Cole is. Last week J. Cole came home to NC for an official mixtape release party for…

Raleigh, NC native Al Chauncy has been on a consistant grind over the past year. In addition to working on his music I’ve noticed how how his image has changed and improved. It’s good to see people progressing. Al Chauncy recently dropped the mixtape North Carolina Crushers Vol. 1 with the legendary DJ Smallz, has…

Straight outta LoCash is a crazy motherf**er named Gusto, er, I mean straight outta Medusaville is the newest project from Frank Ramz. Unless I’m missing something I don’t think there’s any production from B. Logik this time around but the mixtape is still a winner. What always strikes me about Ramz’ music is even though…
