Last night De La’s 20th Anniversary Tour rolled through Chapel Hill. Lil Wayne’s AMW tour was happening across town at the arena. Mister Flowers (Eric Tullis to the rest of ya’ll) happens to be the 2nd most hated hip hop journalist in the area behind Uncle Crizzle (Craig Lindsey) at The News & Observer. I…

Trap boi music is the best music to ride out to. As much as I love lyrical rhymes and hip hop smoothed out on the R&B tip when it’s time to hit the streets touchy feeley just won’t cut it. At that point I’m really not trying to think too hard. For the past couple…

Everywhere you turn it appears hip hop baby mamas and wives are receiving more attention than the actual recording artists themselves. From Tiny to Toya (T.I. & Lil Wayne), Tia to Tashera (Rick…

The playlist from last week’s Who Got Next? Part II can be viewed here. The next feature show Carolina Stand Up! Part IV is coming August 13. During those nights I go all Carolina (NC & SC) all night, with the exception of a few tracks. Run That Back: Who Got Next? Part I playlist.…
