Trap boi music is the best music to ride out to. As much as I love lyrical rhymes and hip hop smoothed out on the R&B tip when it’s time to hit the streets touchy feeley just won’t cut it. At that point I’m really not trying to think too hard.
For the past couple of months Rob Gold’s The Midas Touch mixtape has been the official album to mob through the city with, and as tight as it is, it was starting to get old. I’ve even been taking it “old school” with Young Jeezy’s 2003 Come Shop With Me but still needed something fresh.
On Friday I peeped Yo Gotti’s new South Crack mixtape with Stupid Dope Moves (Charlamagne Tha God & DJ Frosty) over at R.E.’s spot. Since that time it’s been knocking non stop in the iPod. Hard beats and lots of sh*t talking combined with van glorious tales of being a product of the environment.
In other words, it’s just A Good A$$ Mixtape.
