One month ago AlLindstrom.com gave up and coming artists the opportunity to submit their music via email to A&R Jeff Sledge. The idea was simple: artists send in music, Jeff Sledge reviews it. Here we watch him listen to several artist submissions and provide feedback.

Several tips Jeff Slege gives in this listening session include having track intros that are less than 15 seconds, not rhyming about popping bottles and selling crack (because that topic is, in his words, wayyyy played out and no one wants to hear that in 2012), being mindful of your artist name, plus much more. This session is very informative, y’all might learn something.
