Recently NC’s Kooley High performed at Public Assembly in Brooklyn, New York. Soon after the show Okayplayer sat down with the group sans Rapsody (Tab-One, Charlie Smarts, Foolery, Ill Digitz, and The Sinopsis) for an interview.

In part one the fellas talked about how being from North Carolina along with East Coast and Down South styles influences their sound and why the signature boom bap of The Justus League inspired Kooley High’s music and movement.
