J. Rowdy & Cayso -- "Dumbo In The Club"

For y’all outside of North Carolina, the Franklin Street Halloween celebration in Chapel Hill is the biggest Halloween party in the entire state. It’s been estimated that up to 80,000 people have attended (that number is from Wikipedia though, y’all know how they do). I’m not sure if it’s really ever been that many but every year I’ve attended has been a total zoo. People come from all over. It’s now to the point that the town of Chapel Hill has tried to cut back on the celebration over the past two years by imposing curfews on Halloween night.

Anyway UNC-Chapel Hill students J. Rowdy and Cayso of No9to5 Music hit Franklin Street on Halloween night 2012 to film their video "Dumbo In The Club". This track is off of their upcoming Press Start EP that’s dropping tomorrow.

No9to5 Music is also presenting #MarchOnNightLight this Saturday December 1, 2012. They along with the UNC Marching Band and The Coastal Collective will be gathering at the US Post Office on Franklin Street to perform while marching to Nightlight on Rosemary Street. It’s actually a pretty cool idea and sounds like a lot of fun. The two bands will provide the music while the rappers rap. You can march with them and join the party too. The march to Nightlight will start at 8:40PM.
