It’s been a minute since I’ve been able to catch one of Al Lindstrom’s feature interviews, so this is a good one to get back in the swing of things with. Jonny Shipes is the founder of Cinematic Music Group Founder and also Big K.R.I.T’s manager.

Allindstrom.com visited Jonny Shipes apartment recently, where we learn about his start in the industry at Bad Boy Records and why he left, discovering Sean Kingston and Nipsey Hussle, what went wrong with Nipsey’s deal at Epic, why Jonny would never want to work at a major, plus more.
