You guys know I’m a big technology kid so this video grabbed my attention. Over the weekend the annual New York International Car Show opened in the city. The Dutch company PAL-V (Personal Air and Land Vehicle) released this video of its flying car prototype.

The PAL-V has a range of 315 miles and a top speed of 110 mph. On the ground it drives like a sports car, in the air it flies like a helicopter. Or as the scientists call it, a gyrocopter.

The PAL-V is expected to hit the consumer market as early as 2014. You can fly to the club and make your old girl/boy jealous. Check out the PAL-V flying car after the jump!
