Back at the bottom of 2011, VA/NC hip hop collective Alpha Male Society (AMSoc) promised to create and release an EP every month in 2012, each of which are entirely produced by a single beatmaker. This month’s EP, I Believe in the Tears of A Girl Named Hannah, is a four track collaborative effort with producer The Jake.
I Believe in the Tears of A Girl Named Hannah gets its name from a composition of the original beat titles that were sent to the AMSoc emcees when the project took root. The Jake, who released his own project, The Dream Season EP, in August of last year, has worked with J. Gunn, Median, Rapsody plus more.
