Nanci O Is Hip Hop

CES, the world’s largest consumer electronics and technology event, kicked off yesterday in Las Vegas. Forbes caught up with LL Cool J and he describes his new product Boomdizzle.

Boomdizzle is a virtual music studio that allows users in different locations to record music simultaneously, without emailing tracks back and forth. The product has a distribution deal with iTunes and an online social community.

LL Cool also talks about how the industry fosters trends, the impact of Spotify and iHeartRadio on artists, why the music business will never be the same again and the falling off of traditional terrestrial radio stations.
