Ever since the Dixie Boyz new video for the soulful "So Sexy" dropped earlier this week, myself and the rest of the Carolina bloggers have been wondering: who are these cats and why does it seem like they came out of "nowhere?"

The Dixie Boyz are out of Orangeburg, SC and consists of DJ Hugg (who also functions as producer), John Push, Jimi Swagg, and Carolina Slimm. Dirty Redd is a deceased member of the group who died in 2006, but the rest of the guys still consider him a part. 

Here’s an exclusive release from the Dixie Boyz’ upcoming mixtape, Til Death Do Us Part. This is another soulful track from the guys, so I’m looking forward to checking out more of their material. Stay tuned for that. The new project is scheduled to drop at the top of 2012.
