On the latest episode of Where Is Hip Hop?, Randy and I discuss J. Cole.

When this segment was recorded and aired last week during May’s Feature Night Thursday show, J. Cole had been noticeably on low profile on the scene. Randy notes the fact that J. Cole has been signed to Roc Nation for almost two years. Since that time even though there’s been several highly rated mixtapes and a hot single, "Who Dat?", there’s no album. Or release date. So this made Randy and I wonder, had Hollywood Cole gone cold?

Well lo and behold, on Tuesday of this week during 106 & Park, J. Cole popped up on the show to announce nominees for the 2011 BET Awards. He also spoke on why his debut album was constantly being delayed, revealed that a new single will be debuted next week from his upcoming album and that he’s now on the Rhianna "Loud" tour.
