Kooley High had a concert scheduled last night at The Pourhouse in downtown Raleigh that was cancelled as a result of the tornados that ripped through NC. You can catch them next weekend at Shakori Hills Grassroots Festival Of Music & Dance. Shakori Hills is in it’s 9th year and is a four day event that takes place in Silk Hope, NC. Over 60 bands are set to hit the stage, and Kooley High is the only hip hop act scheduled to perform.

Let’s take a minute to salute Kooley High. Last year they were the only hip hop act to perform at the prestigious Sarah P. Duke Gardens annual Music In The Gardens summer series, and now they are performing at Shakori Hills. #winning.
