This episode of Where Is Hip Hop? is actually from a fews weeks ago but I never got around to posting it. In this episode Randy and I discuss when is it smart for an artist to sign to another artist?

Pretty much the whole hip hop world now knows that Wale and also Meek Mill recently inked deals with Rick Ross’s Maybach Music Group.


Why would someone with an established brand such as Wale sign with a rapper who has yet to be successful establishing artists currently signed to his roster (Triple C’s)? And since when is Wale about rhyming on that street life and moving weight across the water? SMH.

Oh yeah, don’t forget Pill is now signed to Bawse’s label too.
