I’m so looking forward to Big K.R.I.T. Wuz Here: The Grillade Sessions EP. Lead singer Rachel Fykes has an other-worldly voice and you may have heard her on Moe Green’s Rocky Maivia: Non Title Match album that dropped last year.
Anyway I know of a Carolina artist who has a similar EP dropping later this year with a live band collabo similar to this project, but the official announcement hasn’t been made yet so I’ll just hold tight for the moment.
