Local hip hop blogger Carolina Blew (who also rhymes under the name Jay David) along with Gully Mack, Gettin’ To It Entertainment and Cap’s Raleigh had a toy drive last weekend at the Cap’s boutique. Artists, DJs, plus others came through and donated toys for kids who otherwise might not have a great holiday season. There was a live DJ and a really good turnout despite the snow. One certain rapper even came through with two huge bags of toys.
Shout out to Carolina Blew and Gully Mack for using their movements to do something positive in the community.
