Nanci O Is Hip Hop

During this week’s airing of NC Spin the food bank and emergency food aid crisis was a topic of discussion. This holiday season 1 in 6 North Carolinians need food aid. The Second Harvest Food Bank noted that people coming in for aid is the highest they’ve seen in years, in addition to the fact more people with full time jobs (vs. senior citizens, large families and folks on disability) are coming in for help.

On Friday December 10 Black Ink Magazine in conjuction with Cafe Beyond, Eargasm Entertainment, Spring Hill The Movement and www.nancioradioshow.com presents the 1st Annual Food Drive Jump-Off. There will be performances, poetry readings and comedy. Entry is FREE with 2 can goods, to benefit The Interfaith Council Community House and NC Food Bank.

The economy is crazy these days and a lot of people are hurting. Come out and PARTY WITH A PURPOSE on December 10.
