Nanci O Is Hip Hop

The next time you attend a Lil Wanye concert you might be able to purchase some books at the merch table. I peeped this story in last week’s Wall Street Journal. Ronald and Bryan Williams (aka Baby) recently launched a publishing firm called Cash Money Content, which includes an agreement with the Atria Books imprint of CBS Corp.’s Simon & Schuster to market and distribute the books. Even more important is Cash Money Content will own the books.

Now if ya’ll remember anything from high school alot of the text books had the Simon & Schuster imprint so this is pretty major. CMC debuts in February with “Raw Law: An Urban Guide to Criminal Justice,” written by attorney Muhammad Ibn Bashir. Cash Money Content also bought the rights to “Pimp” by Iceberg Slim. Forget rolling, everybody get your read on.
