So I’ve been hearing about this SC rapper Boss G for a minute, as several folks kept telling me to check dude out. And then somebody told me he’s better than Jeezy. Now if you’ve been round these parts for a while, you know that Jeezy is my favorite trappin’ rapper, and I’ve been rocking to Jeezy since Come Shop With Me dropped in 2003, so that statement was darn near blasphemy in my book. That’s like saying if you like Outkast you’ll love **insert random underground/ATLien/outerspace rapper’s name here**.
Anyway before I hit the road to DJ B Lord’s party in Flo-town, SC on Friday, I downloaded this new Boss G project to have some new new to ride out to. The whole mixtape is hosted by Charlamange and DJ Frosty; it’s good for Boss G to have their co-sign but a co-sign doesn’t really mean anything in my book, cause keeping it real there are DJs out there who’ll host the wackest rappers’ project for the right price. I digress, again.
This mixtape jams. While Boss G isn’t the new Jeezy it’s still dope as what and goes pretty hard.
