Planning for Sohipotome {Women In Hip Hop Radio/Honors/Concert} continues. We are excited about next years’ events and appreciate our sponsors support. The event dates are March 11-13, 2010. Two goals for 2010 are to bridge the gap for the next generation of women in hip hop and to promote unity for women in hip hop.
To do this Sohipotome 2010 will be featuring the Building A Better You {B.A.B.Y.} program. B.A.B.Y. is based in Durham, NC and is a personal development, life skills and fashion program for preteen and teenage girls. The mission of the program is to empower the girls to become focused, driven and confident.

All events on March 13 will take place at the Durham Arts Council.
