New mixtape from Demevolist Music Group’s J. Means.
If you’re new to the group’s movement Demevolist consists of Interscopes’ Charles Hamilton–who did a surprisingly lengthy interview on the show last year (this was before the XXL freshman 10 cover, for some reason I tend to be up on the fresh material before some folks consider it fresh)–Yung Nate, Sha-Leik, Baghdad and a whole bunch of other Uptown dudes.
Demev is to Brooklyn and Harlem what Wu-Tang was to Staten Island.
One question though: What IS IT with these NY dudes and tracks about love, lost connections and broken hearts? Those city gals must be **in Rick James voice** Cold Blooded.
