The last official ‘Night Of The Living Grind’ was the hip hop and soulful christmas feature.
Heads wanted to where to cop that ‘Christmas Rap’ album but the ‘Merry Christmas From Sesame Street’ record (that I paid 25 cents for at a flea market) got tons of calls that night.
At any rate it’s time for another NOTLG. It’s been a minute since ‘Carolina Stand Up! Part I and ‘Carolina Stand Up! Part II.
For the newbies around these parts during ‘Carolina Stand Up!’ NC and SC hip hop artists are spun exclusively all night long.
Part I was cool but people went crazy for Part II. Both Kooley High and Inflowential stopped by the studio for a live interview and busted a dope freestyle and beatbox. The phones were ringing off the hook and the crowd was going wild as if Holyfield had just won the fight.
