G.O.O.D. Music Group/Def Jam’s Cyhi Da Prynce called into the show last week for an interview during January’s Feature Night Thursday show.
During the talk he describes what was happening in his life right before he got signed to G.O.O.D. Music Group (eviction notices, lights cut off, etc), the things he did to increase his fan base (which lead to an even bigger buzz), why the Atlanta hip hop scene had a hard time embracing his music, meeting Kanye West for the first time, and shares business gems for transitioning from an indie artist to a major.
Cyhi Da Pryhnce also talks about his upcoming collaboration The Allies project with Yelawolf, Big K.R.I.T. & B.O.B set to drop this Spring and why live shows are the best for sharing his energy with fans.
