Something new from the Roanoke, VA duo MackJones (Poe Mack and Case Jones). Regardless of what people say about Poe and Case’s sound here are two fellas, coming out of literally the middle of no where, who combined their resources, started a movement and are getting their buzz up even more.
MackJones came together a while back and released several projects. Their 14 city stop Middle East Mic Fest Tour is coming to a close on May 14, 2010 in their hometown of Roanoke, VA and several shows included one of NC’s favorite lyricists, Kaze. In speaking with the guys they said the goal of their grassroots tour is to unify the strong Indie artist movement within the middle region of the East Coast (from Baltimore to Charlotte). There will also be a Mic Fest Tour mixtape released soon, which is already in the works.
