Nominations are now open for the 2010 SC Music Awards, coming July 9-11 in Charleston, SC. Several of my SC counterparts have been nominated for awards. Randy Roper –who does the Where Is Hip Hop? segment on the show–is up for Impact Person Of The Year. WarrenJae –who I’ve been telling ya’ll for months is going to be a problem–is up for Slept On Artist Of The Year.
Rebellious Mindz –who I dig 100% cause they’re music is so dang smooth–is up for Group Of The Year.
Last but certainly not least, winner of Video Of The Year wins an exclusive package, which will include: An Official Press Release, Story placement on www.blockstarzmusic.com and www.yoraps.com, banner placement, Video placement on website and advertisement.

So I see some artists were feeling all types of emotions about not being nominated and voiced concerns on Twitter. I’m convinced if some of ya’ll put 1/4 of your complaining energy towards your movement engergy you would feel less of the way you do. How can you expect to be nominated without such much as a mixtape in the streets or on the internets? Ya’ll need to stop!
