Fall is one of my favorite seasons. Beyond the crispy weather and a reason to wear stiletto boots with the jeans tucked in this is the time of year alumni from all over converge on “The Yard” during Homecoming and get nostalgic about the days at NCCU .
If you went to an HBCU you know what I’m talking about.
I always rep hard for my Alma mater North Carolina Central University.
Not only did I get a fantastic education and meet a few close friends who over the years have all been down with me like four flat tires:
Jermel “Mellie Pooh”, Phylis “Ruthless Red”, Retosha “T-Dog” & Sherreka “Reek”…
…I also learned how to become a Spades and Pinochle connoisseur and wash 10 loads of clothes with only .75 cents.
