Feature Night Thursdays returns for a VERY special radio special on December 19, 2013!

Back in August after an awesome three year streak, I stopped hosting the Feature Night Thursdays radio show on WXYC 89.3 FM Chapel Hill in order to focus on training for a Spring 2014 marathon (y’all can follow my running adventures on Instagram). Since that time I’ve fell in love with running but occasionally missed being on the air. Past guests on the show included Big K.R.I.T., Cyhi The Prince, 9th Wonder’s Jamla Records, Big Sean, Jus Nice, Nesby Phips, J. Cole, Rashad, Boss G, XV and many more (check out previous Feature Night Thursday interviews here).

Anyway, last month the good folks at WXYC asked me to return to the airwaves to host my annual hip hop Christmas radio special. Believe me when I tell y’all, I was happy to be asked and am excited to get back behind the microphone.

What makes this night even MORE special is Queen of the Carolinas Shelly B! In November, to the shock and disappointment of her fans, Shelly B. announced her retirement from entertainment. To date, Shelly B is one of the most successful female artists from the Carolinas. She will be stopping by the studio at 9:30PM for an interview to discuss her retirement, new business moves, impact to hip hop culture in the Carolinas and more!
