Y'all know how excited I get to see artists with Carolina roots go into the big city and "make good", so hearing about Feli Fame's film premiere event in New Jersey and how successful the night turned out, is pretty cool.

Back in September 2011 when I interviewed Feli Fame, he mentioned that he wanted to do more than just drop an album and some videos. The plan was to create and release a full length film as part of the album's promotion. He also wanted an opportunity to show his script writing and film production skills, in addition to further building up his business and MND$ brand.

The Dirty Laundry album dropped in late 2012. Last month on Good Friday, the artist formerly known as Felony Fame (I peeped the slight name change) premiered the film in New Jersey, with LowKey of YouHeardThatNew.com acting as host.

In addition to the film screening, there were performances from a few artists. Y'all can see in the screenshot above that the event was packed out. Hit the jump to check out a recap of the evenings festivities!
