If y’all can recall, Wreck-N-Crew’s Ron O’Neal EP made it into my Top Carolina Hip Hop Releases of 2011 list. That whole EP was jammin’ and the production was pretty dope.
The Durham duo of Trie and Fresh are gearing up along with Realer Music Group to release RMG’s collaborative project, 72-10, later this summer. "Armed & Dangerous" is featured on the new album and the group dropped some visuals to go along with it. The video was shot at various locations throughout the Bull City, including The Yard (NCCU’s campus) and notable spots in downtown.
Now I’d be remiss to post Wreck-N-Crew’s "Armed & Dangerous" video without noting all the talk that bubbled on the RDU hip hop scene back in March when Actual Proof’s "All The Way" Ft. Raheem Devaughn dropped. Word is somebody’s production got bit. I’m not sure whose version came first or if it’s a sample that everybody busted wide open and took a turn on, but I do know there were fans whom felt a certain type of way about it. Take a listen to both tracks. What do y’all think?
Check out the "Armed & Dangerous" video after the jump!
