You have got to respect the fact that Columbia, SC’s Toro Y Moi has now become an international star. Especially considering the fact that the city is not known as a hot bed for international stars. Here XLR8R’s Shawn Reynaldo interviewed Toro Y Moi (aka Chaz Bundick) for a recent Red Bull Music Academy Session in Phoenix.

During their hour-long conversation, Toro Y Moi talks about growing up in Columbia, SC, his growth as a musician, attending the University of South Carolina, touring internationally, his unique sound plus much more.
