Earlier this year Decatur, GA’s Aleon Craft (@AleonCraft) released Mothership Decatur, a mixtape that paid homage to Parliament’s 1967 release, Mothership Connection. Since its release, Aleon Craft has hooked up with funk legend George Clinton (George_Clinton) and now the two will be releasing a project together.
Mothership: The Decatur Connection is a collaborative album consisting of elements from Aleon Craft’s Mothership Decatur, The Parliament’s catalog – including, Mothership Connection – and original recordings from both Aleon Craft and George Clinton. The project is presented by SMKA & Funkprobosci.com.
