Scion A/V and the legendary producer Prince Paul (@DJPrincePaul) has teamed up for a new documentary webisode series that explores different genres of music across the country.
Episode one is titled "Beating Up New York". Prince Paul goes into the city with comrades Mr. Dead and Soce to explore the DJ and dance music scene. They visit with several producers (Soul Clap, Style of Eye, Win Win, Ghostdad, XXXChange, and Chris Devlin) to witness their creative processes. The trio also stops by couple of clubs to experience the results of the beat making sessions.
You can check out episode two after the jump and watch Prince Paul, Soce and Mr. Dead as they head to Lawrenceville, Kansas to learn about garage music and the movement happening in the midwest. Episode three is coming soon; the trio visited New Orleans to learn more about the bounce music scene in Lousiana.
