Retail giant Walmart has partnered with Nelly (@Nelly_Mo) and DoSomething.org as part of the 2011 Tackle Hunger campaign for the holiday season. The program encourages and helps students set up food drives in their local schools and communities to help raise food for local charities and food banks.
Students who register a food drive by December 25 in their community and collects at least ten pounds of food will be randomly selected and win a $100 scholarship for each member of their food drive team.
