Last Friday 8/21 the Carolina Got Next show went down at Perico’s in Raleigh. The lineup included J. Khrist, State House (SC), Bettie Grind, Brolic, Shelly B, Lil Ru (who was a no show and I heard pulled out at the last minute), and with what seemed to be about every other trap boi rapper from NC and their entourages. Now you know I dig the riding dirty music to a certain extent; if that’s where you from and where you respresent, okay you’re a product of your environment, I get it.
After 2 + hours that shyt gets way old. How many ways are there to rhyme about flipping birds and hugging the block?

It was hot as all get out and packed like crazy. Cats in the V.I.P. were clowning Petey Pablo for rocking a full on denim outfit bedazzled with studs and a long sleeve t-shirt. I bet none of those folks said any of that to his face.

On a positive note everybody left their beef at home. Anyone who says NC & SC can’t come together for a show should have been there to see the unity.

Here are a couple pics from the event. I couldn’t figure out why heads kept getting cut off in pictures until I realized that I was wearing Chucks and not heels. And anybody who knows how to operate a ViviCam 327 holla at me in the email.
