So this mixtape Before I Lay actually dropped last month. I’m late but just like you I get so much music it sometimes takes a while to go through it all. Before I Lay is the prequel to WarrenJae’s official debut project What Dreams May Come.
Anyway I’m kind of digging this kid Warren Jae’s material. He’s from South Carolina but his music is different from the rest of what’s coming out of South Crack right now. Not trap boi fabolous but not granola backpack either. Somewhere in between. I guess I’ll just say it’s decent hip hop music.
