As you may have heard the South Carolina Music Awards took place this past weekend in Columbia, SC. It felt good being a Carolina kid this weekend. All ya’ll up state and left coast cats reading this blog don’t get it twisted, folks are working hard down at the bottom of the map.
Beyond it being hot as all get out at every single venue (Friday @360, Saturday @The COOP AND Sunday @The MLK Center) it was a great weekend of networking and partying. Everybody seemed to have left their beef at home. Yes Lil Ru got booed so NC folk can stop hitting me up on Twitter asking if it really happened (DM? why ya’ll scared to go on the public timeline? The FEDs are already taking pictures so no need to hide now, LOL).
Anyway here are a couple of pics from the event. There were more but I’m feeling lazy. Seeing as I pay the bills round this b*tch it’s all good.
