This week Randy and I talk about Rick Ross 1st week sales for Deeper Than Rap, whose predictions were closest to the actual numbers we projected on episode 11 and the Drake/Danny! show that took place at the Loft this past weekend in the A.
I really thought Officer ‘Sexxy Beast’ Rawse was only gonna sell 50K but R.E. was much closer with his prediction of 150K—the album sold about 158K but you know Def Jam probably bought 50K of that so R.E. was right on target.
When I was in the A for CoreDJs retreat #10 I stopped by the Ozone offices and we recorded episode 12. I’ve been having problems with the audio and working on getting it straight. Check back for episode 12 in the coming days.
