During last year’s playlist for the women in hip hop special I took it back and played tracks from hip hop’s founding mothers exclusively. This year will be a mix of old school and new school femcees.

There will be an interview with hip hop legend Chuck D during this years’ radio special! If you didn’t know Chuck D began a movement in January 2009 for more females in hip hop, less materialism and less sexism.
