For real talk, material from Florida emcee Prote-J had been hitting the inbox regularly for some time now. He opened up for the recent Mac Miller and Rapsody tour when it rolled through Jacksonville, FL. I figured if he’s opening for those two then he shoudn’t be too corny, so I decided to take a listen.
Prote-J was raised in Papua New Guinea and this video shows footage of what his home and upbringing was really like. It was shot in Papua New Guinea the last time he visited the country.
"Bigger Things" is off his recent DJ Booth-released mixtape Dope Raps & Kit Kats.
Says the artist:
"The lyrics for "Bigger Things" matched perfectly, so we put the video together."
