So this is the track that has the South Carolina scene in a little bit of a uproar right now. I got an interesting phone call last night after it dropped yesterday.
Going in over DJ Khaled’s "I’m On One", Charleston emcee Righchus expresses how he feels on a variety of folks and issues in SC (DJ Chuck T, Charleston’s Z93 radio station, etc), as well as being an independent artist in the Palmetto State’s hip hop scene.
Oh yeah, the title of this track is not to be confused with abolitionist Frederick Douglass, it was inspired by a hustler on Dover Street in North Charleston by the same name.
