Afika Nix is an electronica/hip hop artist out of Greensboro, NC that I just caught wind of recently.
Producer Just Wright and Afika Nix came up with the concept to write, produce, record and release a project within seven days. They played off the concept of Greek rush week; Afika Nix is a student at UNC-Greensboro and this EP is the final product.
From what I’m hearing, they are working to get Track 1 “Outta There” to become the official anthem of the Greensboro Grasshoppers, G’Boro’s minor league baseball team.
