Off the North Carolina hip hop band’s debut album Silence Fiction.
The Beast along with hip hop author MK Asante, Jr will also be featured on CNN. The news outlet will be on UNC’s campus tomorrow filming MK Asante’s Black History Month Lecture at The Sonja Hayes Stone Center.
Later this month I’ll be sitting on a Black History Month and hip hop culture panel with Pierce Freelon (The Beast’s emcee) and King Mez during Movement Of Youth’s upcoming 5th Annual Hip Hop Symposium.
