Ease is a “rapper, actor, weed connoisseur and fly boy” out of Chapel Hill, NC who’s been bugging me for some time to check out his material and post it up. I’ve seen him do many sets around RDU and he’s funny as hell. Got past the funny lyrics and then realized dude is a good rapper, kinda reminds me of Redman. And then Ease rolls with an entourage of about 2-3 girls just about every time I see him.
Morning Wood Volume 1 is his debut mixtape hosted by local comedian Bishop Omega. “I’m A Fly Boy” is off the project and includes female rapper and fellow Chapel Hill resident Lyrik on the hook. I didn’t even know she could sing.
Ease is also seen in the video of this cypher filmed during Lyrik’s Blue Chip album release party. He’s the second rapper to rhyme.
