Over the summer Shelly B presented a ‘Hip Hop For The Homeless’ event in downtown Raleigh, NC. In addition to allowing some of Carolina’s most talented artists to grace the stage, the event was well organized and all proceeds went to The Raleigh Homeless Shelter. Donations were used to purchase supplies for the shelter in addition to being distributed to people living on the street.
Much respect to Shelly B for activism in the community and giving back. It’s bigger than Hip Hop.
