Last Thursday night The Pit Spit took place for the second year in a row.
The Pit Spit is becoming a tradition and takes place in “The Pit” which is a favorite gathering hole on UNC’s campus in front of the Student Union.
Anyway the Pit Spit event is hosted by UNC’s Hip Hop Nation which was found by NC lyricist and local fave Kaze.
Despite the rain the turn out was pretty good. After standing outside for over an hour I thought to myself I must really love hip hop to be out here.
Kaze didn’t get back from LA in time but M1 Platoon, Kooley High, Carlitta Durand, The Beast, Rhetoric and tons of other local faves turned out.
Breakdancing crew the Mighty Arms of Atlas didn’t make it but it would have been interesting to watch them breakdance in the rain.
