Charlotte, NC’s Elevator Jay just dropped his new EP last Thursday and I’m already hearing good things about it, real good things actually, from several Crown Town resources. The project is bumping in the speakers as I type this, and it’s pretty jammin’.
Elevator Jay produced three of the four tracks on the EP. What’s interesting is that although Elevator Jay is from Charlotte, this project reminds me of that early Organized Noize production, with Goodie Mob’s content and flow, brought to the present by a 2012 vibe. It’s very soulful.
